About Maple Bros
Twin Leaf Farms is our family farm in Greenfield Center, New York. Maple Bros is the name you’ll now find on our maple syrup, popcorn, candy, and other maple products.
The name may be new, but everything is still made by the same family, on the same farm, with the same commitment to quality.
From Twin Leaf Farms to Maple Bros
As our maple business grew, we wanted to create something that would set us apart from other maple producers. That led us to maple popcorn.
The popcorn gave us the chance to do something a little different, and with it came the Maple Bros name. As the product line grew, we began bringing more of what we make under the Maple Bros brand.
Today, Twin Leaf Farms is still the farm behind it all, and Maple Bros is the name on the products we make here.
Our History
Our story begins in 1835. Stephen Wilsey purchased his first piece of property in Greenfield Center, NY where the original family farmhouse still stands today.
This small “Gentlemen’s” farm produced milk, eggs, and vegetables for Stephen’s family and many locals. The legacy of the land shares a special place in the hearts and minds of the community of Greenfield Center.
Our Quality
All of our maple syrup is processed using firewood harvested from our farm. These practices improve the health of our maple trees, producing the sweetest maple flavor without the use of fossil fuels.
Dead, dying or diseased trees are removed, as well as large trees crowding the canopy of our maples. New trees are regularly planted to improve the health of the land and reduce the potential for forest fires.
